Welcome to Enticer Fishing Tackle

Enticer Tackle has been making quality fishing tackle since 1989. I started out supplying lead head jigs and slip bobber stops to small bait & tackle shops. But it was not soon after that I started making musky and northern pike baits. Thus, in 1990 came the Squid-Tail.

After introduction of the Squid-Tail, I started fishing in musky tournaments. It was while fishing musky tournaments that I decided there was a need for a small to medium-size bucktail, a size where a person could cover a lot of water quickly. So in 1994 I came out with the Enticer.

I enjoy tournament fishing and have done very well, especially with smaller baits. It was while using these smaller baits that I wanted a smaller version of the Squid-Tail. It was in 2000 that the Baby Squid-Tail was born.

In 2003, new things started to happen for Enticer Tackle. This was a very busy year. Now, we are in the age of soft plastics. However, I realized there were many types of soft plastic tails. But jig heads to accommodate the larger sizes were to hard to find. So, in 2003 I designed a 1 oz. jig head with an 8/0 hook, to fill this void. It was a perfect match for those 8" soft plastic tails.

In 2003 I also came out with a keel weight. Designed to be used virtually with any type of fishing (casting, trolling or drifting), for any type of fish. These are great for getting your lure down deeper or running in front of your live bait rigs. I named it the Adapter.

In 2003, I also added to my line of lures a 7" Minnow Bait, a shallow runner and a deep diver.

In 2004, I started making a little larger bucktail, sporting a #7 fluted blade, thus, the Enticer II came to life.

In 2005, I started production on a jig and spinner combination. This was a lure I designed back in 1989, but never started to make until now. It is called the Curly Spin.

In 2007, I started production of a new in-line spinner made with two #10 blades and dressed with flashabou, called Double Thunder.

In 2008, I started production of another in-line spinner. This spinner is made with two #7 fluted blades and is dressed witha flashabou skirt. It is called Double Thunder Jr.

I try to keep improving on my current products and keep trying to add to the total product line, to help you improve your fishing arsenal.

Good Luck Fishing!
